And as for the car chase analogy, for me, yes it would detract from my enjoyment of the chase if I saw the stunt actor in the car crash. Seeing and knowing though are two different things. So...if they could find a way to minimize actually SEEING the actor wear the condom, then perhaps I could....*ahem* enjoy the porno more.

I think another issue to this is male performance. I've read a few AMA on reddit of male porn actors, and they say really the main thing to being a porn star (male) is just the ability to get it hard, keep it up, and finish on cue. The misconception is size (although an important element) is the #1 requirement. If you don't have a penis this may sound like it wouldn't be that difficult, but it can be!
