Well that sucks, his X-Men: First Class was the best of the X-Men movies and one of the best superhero movies since the first Iron Man movie.
First off, it's BRYAN Singer.
Second, meh. I lost faith with him after he fucked up Superman Returns.
Please please please, let this franchise die so Marvel can take the rights back and build a successful film series like they did with the Avengers...only with more popular and likeable characters
Come back Vaughn! I was hoping he would gradually erase Singerverse. There goes all my anticipation for this.
Well, at least I'll have Kick Ass 2.

What if a child dreamed of becoming something other than what society had intended? What if a child aspired to something greater? Man of Steel
fanboiii, Vaughn isn't directing Kick-Ass 2.
And here we go again ...
Keaton always said, "I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me are people that think Final Crisis is good.
Holy cr@p, hope this wont be another disaster of a sequel with a replacement director a la X3

First ass was the second greatest superhero movie I've seen.
Why leave ;/

Why do people want this? Marvel is only able to do some many movie, I would much rather Marvel just stick to making movies of the many properties they have the rights to. I mean, Guardians of the Galaxy & Ant-Man seem like two of the most interesting movies they're going to be putting out..does anyone think they would even be thinking about making those if they had X-Men, Spider-Man, & Fantastic Four? The last X-Men movie was better than the last few Marvel movies anyways.
I'm glad Vaughn is off, even if he is still in Fox's stable. As fun as First Class was, it had its problems and these fissures would only have gone deeper the longer he stayed around. He is not the man to move the franchise forward. The new director (hopefully not Singer) would do well to order a re-write.
"A venom born of bitterness, resentment and possibly envy".
Well...... it was too good of a good thing to last for long.
