-___- great...
another project he yet leaves to rot. Seriously I don't know why I follow they guy so religiously he never finishes anything! Between him and Masami Obari I'll never get to see any of the series I actually like done!
Nooooooo!! I love the Darksiders series! I hope this does not impact Darksiders 3 (if there even is one).
This sucks.
Glad to hear he will be focusing on comics again for a while.

As a comic fan this is some great news!
His next project is the Spider Man/Elektra/Wolverine project that should have been his second artistic arc on Amazing Spider Man with Zeb Wells. It's now become it's own project and has been teased for months, but with no release date confirmed for it.

I'm very happy with this news. More Joe Mad comics, please!

They must have asked him to work on one thing for more than 2 months.
Nothing's gonna happen without a warning
No, the problem is that artists have no sense of deadlines because they're 'famous'. Jack Kirby used to turn out dozens of pages a month, and it never impacted on the quality of his work. There's nothing that special about Joe Mad's pencils that means he should be given more time or for deadlines being allowed to slip.

You are right on the first part, but wrong on the second. Sadly Joe Mad is not able to produce stellar work as Kirby in such a short time. Few people are, by the way. Mad's pencils are great, and like it or not, he is a fan favourite and editors know his inabilities about keeping a monthly deadline, so he will work on a limited series anyway. No, the problem is that artists have no sense of deadlines because they're 'famous'. Still love his art, still hate him for not finishing BC.
Well, he did finish it, didn't he? It's not as of Darksiders 2 is incomplete. Any work he did for that game would have been completed a long, long time ago anyway.
That said, I severely hope he won't be pencilling any books I'm interested in. Kinda hope he gets back together with Loeb...
'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."
Never played any Darksiders games but I do love his artwork. I'll eagerly await to see what his next project will be.
