I had no idea D'Anda was going to be the artist on Star Wars. That, coupled with some of the stuff Wood's laying down - that's gonna be one hell of a Star Wars comic.
Wood's Conan is the first time I've read Conan and REALLY enjoyed it. I've read and liked it in the past, but the story coupled with the completely new direction the art has taken hit me square in the enjoyment centre.
The Massive is also great. I never thought I'd enjoy a comic arc about resupplying a ship... but there you go.
On Star Wars, I just recently dropped ALL of the various DH Star Wars titles from my pull list as I felt that they were starting to become very mediocre. I was only still reading them because I was a Star Wars fan, not because they were good. But based on how much I've been enjoying his other Dark Horse titles I may have to give this the obligatory two-issue try.
Keep your fingers crossed that Hickman decides to do something with Nick Fury and the Secret Warriors after that series ends
Massive is really intriguing. I'm very curious to see what lies ahead for the characters.
If you're not reading Unwritten you should be.
Brian Wood is one of the most consistent high quality writers, and just for him I'll be checking out Star Wars. My fingers are crossed that it will revitalize my interest in the franchise.

really enjoying all of wood's work so far right now too. i thought the massive started out a little slow, but thought issue five (latest issue) was the strongest of the bunch and now i'm completely hooked.
and i REALLY can't wait for his star wars. outside of the two vader mini series, i've found a lot of the titles lacking to gain my interest (except maybe agent of the empire)
