    "I got nothing." = Assassin's Creed
"Dunno." = Mass Effect & Arkham Asylum Harley Quinn
"Nice shot, Pete!" = Gears of War
"Again, not a clue, but woah mama!" = Mass Effect (for sure on the guy)
"WTH? Warning, sharp edges!" = I want to say Skyrim or Diablo 3, but I'm not sure either. I vaguely recall this design from game ad.
"Not sure, but wowzers. Great costume, great look." = Mass Effect.... again.

I think you need to play a few more games, Jonah. :)

Am I the only one who thinks Miss Martian in that "Young Justice" photo used house paint to turn herself green?

I was just going to say the same thing. Everytime you do one of these the ones you don't get are the Anime and Video game chars :)

Actually, I ran into her a at least once or twice over the 3 days I was there. In person, it looks more like poster paint. And she was sweating a bit so it was kinda smeared too. A for effort though.

In all fairness, I miss 1/2 the anime references too. Being 38, I guess I grew up more on American comics. I know a few anime ones now, but mostly just the more common ones like Avatar, Appleseed, Cutey Honey, & so on. When I was a kid, it was just stuff like Sailor Moon, Akira, or any of the stuff that got repurposed like Voltron, G-Force, or whatever.

I've been to the past 6 NYCCs. Honestly, compared to last year, the cosplaying on this one was fairly minimal. The "parade" of cosplayers from Penn Station to Javits was almost non-existent this year too, save for a Gambit or TWD zombie here & there.

Seriously, with the kind of coverage Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect get, you have to have lived in a cave not to have heard of them.

"No idea, but wow." - Midna from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (on the left), no clue about the other (might be Lucia from Venus Versus Virus, or Hatsune Miku. Or someone else entirely :P)
"No clue, but great costumes." - Loki (Movie Version) and Enchantress
"Not a clue." - Gears of War (Girl), Mass Effect (Guy)
"Uhhhhhh..." - Pyramid Head from Silent Hill

LOL The "Hi. Hello. Lets be friends" one is Jessica Nigri. That is probably the first bad picture of her I have ever seen. You guys could have got something better then that shot.

That wasn't Jessica Nigri, Jessica did the newer Moxxi from Borderlands 2 that's blue in color.

    Another 38-year-old cave-dweller here.

I've heard of those titles but that didn't help me identify them in a picture. I miss the same references that Jonah does.

Was there something "special" about that Robin image?

"I got nothing" is specifically Connor, the protagonist from Assassin's Creed 3. Although Connor has no goatee that I've seen in promo materials.

Honestly, the guy writing these needs to do some homework. These are hardly obscure characters.
