And now were at the dawn.

I'm afraid that the X Men aren't so much at an all time low as essentially at an end. Despite so many titles with 'X' in them. The 'regular' X Men have become assimilated into the Avengers; the others are presented as the villains - why else would their former team mates be hunting them down. The JGI is not the Xavier School. The Xavier School wasn't under the thumb of a government sanctioned 'superhero' team.

I very much doubt seeing any of this change in the near future as this is exactly what Marvel's current bosses want.
so what your saying is that because the status quo is different, and thee school now has the protection of government officials who want to see it succeed, the x-men are bad now....
I'm so bored with this martyrdom routine, this halo all you X-men love to polish. Self-described soldiers adorned in an "X" with no dedication to what it actually stands for.

Because rightly or wrongly they're seen as traitors who've betrayed their friends. Wolverine used to be one of the most popular of the X Men. Post AvX and his infamous 'Avengers Assemble' speech he's never been so hated.
Although over exposure doesn't help much!

What are you saying? That Wolverine hasn't declined in popularity? His last solo book sold less than it ever has and to my amazement his X-men book sold less than Cyclops' X-men book. You're being naive if you think trend isn't going to continue and worsen.
