It's the end of an era..![]()
Yeah, I think next week will be a bit more emotional for me.
Johnny Storm was dead; who is this resurrected Johnny Storm?
"Here, hold my Annihilus…" Johnny Storm, Fantastic Four #601
At first I was a bit skeptical but I really warmed up to Future Franklin and Future Val. I know Hickman is sending them "home" but I hope they are not forever forgotten.
"...Doom's enemies have not the mettle to challenge him host to host, tooth to nail... As economic and military options fail them, they resort to simple rudeness."
Who is the artist who drew the variant cover?
HeroUp.com: Squire Valiant Snail, level 1757
Avengers Alliance: Agent ComicList, level 230
Fortress Of Solitude: ComicList
Dragotta's Adult Franklin is the hottest thing in comics. Unf.
I finished reading numerous runs in comics but this is more bitter sweet, I am happy that Hickman determined to tell a story and succeeded I am however sad that he is leaving these plots and characters. I wasn't around for the Lee/Kirby era on the title but I truly feel that I was able to understand the appeal of these characters who I had felt been pushed aside for numerous years. Congrats to Hickman and his artistic collaborative partners on a very powerful and well wrought run.
