Like the parallels to his very first issue on Cap - on top of a train battling terrorists.

I'm assuming his visitor in the present (if that is Steve) is Nick Fury Sr.

Can't wait. It's sad in a way, but I think Brubaker has maybe run out of steam on the guy. I mean it was what...7 years straight of excellent books?

Anyone else think that collage cover is a bit much?

I think it's wild, wacky, and cool. (Is a Liefeld version of Cap anywhere in there?)

Definitely wacky. I think if you look at it from afar it's okay, but i started to study all the images and it looked like something a kid would make for their wall.

I can't find any information as to whether it was Epting or not who did the variant cover as well.

The first variant. Since the second one is a collage cover, I don't think I can assign one individual cover artist.

I think the first variant is a collage of a) various Cap artists, or b) all Epting. I see some of Epting's work in there Red Skull, Cap getting shot, and possibly WS Bucky - the rest I am not sure.

It's obvious that it's not connected to the previous art, so I'd love to know the context here. Is the guy in the hospital bed Steve?
