Probably took me 25-30 minutes to read this book last night. Feels like some of the other stuff I buy only takes 10-15, and for the most part I'm pretty selective. In my book that makes it worth the 2.99.
This book continues to impress me tremendously. My only complaint about this issue is that it might be hard for a new reader to pick up and understand the deal with the Track Suit Draculas, only because they're an absurd adversary and there's no real mention of why they hate Clint.
Also, in the scene where he gets in the car half-naked with Kate, I couldn't tell if she was making the abs comment because she has a crush on him or because it's obvious he just had sex with someone and she's annoyed at him for being such a slut. Anyone know?
I love this title. I'll admit to getting #1 on a whim, but it's continued to impress with each issue.
Trade-waiting, wish I jumped onto this before hand.
'If you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, its not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them'
I wouldn't be too down on it actually. I said as much in my review here, the first two books weren't as balanced as this issue (which I agree is a 5 star issue) and the trade will most likely pull things together nicely.

I enjoyed Captain Marvel #1 a lot. I wasn't a fan of the subsequent issues. Didn't pick up the new issue this week either. I'll pick it back up next month. I'm not sure if we should trust IGN on their reviews of Captain Marvel since they're also interviewing the writer and having her do a commentary on the issues. It's probably fair and balanced but they've been a little too ecstatic with the series I think.

I LOVE this book. It's the complete package. Awesome characters, great story, fun dialoge, beautiful art, and abound with creativity. Wooo! Can't see where it goes next.
Ps. Is it terrible that because of their fun banter I'm rooting for a Clint/Kate relationship? She's 18/19 right? lol :-/
If they want to charge us 4 bucks at least give us back 6 to 10 pages. I've been reading and reviewing 20 books a week since December it's killing the stories in 50% of them. It's like the 20 page comic is an extension of promoting collected editions. The single issue suffers, but the collected edition still reads well.
