OMG Maija OMFG
Got my awesome gift in the mail just now. Thanks Maija! The little guy is amazing!
Chillingly good stuff besides Mignola, Slint, M, Knut and really big chunks of tinfoil?Been called a 'good egg'. Been told to rock, been told to steady myself. Been told to (please) be goin' places.
Half sunk in the mud, with one eye showing / a cracked smile and hair still growing /
your hands miles apart, as if they'd never met / you were the happiest I'd seen you yet. ~ (full) lyrics to 'Exhume' by Bedhead.
hiya Kees! merry christmas or whatever's appropriate. Thanks for the warm welcome. sorry i've been so scarce, I've been busy fangirling like crazy over radiohead. such is life
also: whilst I'm here, love and happy whatever to all of you who know me (and why not; all who don't too!) love ya! xx
I just sent an email to Corley. I'm late but I haven't forgotten my promise to thb! You're just going to get your gift on a "Twelve Days of Christmas" timeline rather than the standard Western timeline... that is, 12 days starting from Christmas Day. ^_^````
THB, I've got the picture up to ink stage -- I took a photograph and emailed it to Corley. You can take a look, and if you'd like it colored with colored pencil I'd be happy to do that, it's just that that will add more time before I get it done.
Take your time, Joelle. While I'm anxious to see your creation, don't kill yourself getting it done. Enjoy the holidays!
Corley, I'd love to see that photo in order to decide whether to go black & white or color. Please PM me for my email address when you get a chance. Thank you, sir!
Thanks for understanding THB. :) :)
It's just outline now; I could also break out those gray pens that I used last year and put in shading; but some of the detail work is pretty small so I think color would work better.
First this, so many years ago:
Thanks again J.T.!
Happy Holidays All!
"Spinarella? Are you killing me?!"

Thanks so much, MS Corley! I was so tickled to get this. The drawing is wicked! I love your line work and the subject. It's a wonderful piece.
