If you haven't started, get started!
I'm gonna get cracking with my thing tomorrow.

My job situation has been strenuous for months on months now, since it's through town hall, meaning it's municipal, and with a new governmental budget cutback system policy being implemented (since we got our own fresh Bronco if a li'l paler), everything is hanging in the balance with looking sorta bleak if not grim outright like a dip or depression pulling its weight. Which is what I'm calling strenuous.
But yeah, I wanna get something done allright, got fresh paper and even comic board so I'm feeling ready, apart from the crap that is.

Still need to decide whether it's gonna be watercolor, or ink, whether it's gonna be Big Red himself or another character, but like you say, I need to fire it up.
Get busy with staying in business, or die trying in style, but at least have some fun if only on paper. Which I can put my name under.
Gogo gadget pencil, draw the line, I'm-a drop it like it's hot!

Gonna hit the hay in a minute and when I rise with feeling not particularly enthusiastic I may make use of my secret breakfast formula, being an empty cereal bowl, fill it with Dr. Pepper, add three Snickers bars sans wrapper, some fresh particles of lime or grapefruit (I hate grapefruit) and eat that with a spoon.
And to focus I may resort to some gravely uppity heinous yet frolic-y remix music such as this:

    or simply metal of course.
Now for some sleep (-eep -eep -eep).

I managed to botch up the piece I was gonna enter. A watercolor piece which needed some ink lines, like how Artur Rackham did some of his stuff.

But today I found the inking I did last night as to be sucking heavily. Not cool.

I'll try for a new piece, but the clock is TIC-TIC-TICking!

With this day done and my scribblings to no avail, I fear I'm gonna have to be pulling out for this year.

Since work is gonna have some stuff in store for me, with no letting up 'till the actual days of Christmas, I'm afraid I won't be having enough time to be doing something decent.

    Which stinks.

    Bummer! But I totally understand.
Wouldn't want it to be a burden with your work stuff going on too, its just for fun.

    Maybe next year Kees!

Hey guys, tonight is the deadline..

I've only received three artists contributions so far.

Can I get some feedback from who is still on the list.

Do you still plan on contributing? Do you need this weekend to finish up or should I just pair everyone up with the 4 that we have after the midnight deadline?

Yeah those three are peeps who said they'd like to participate this year.

If they can't no biggie, I just need to know either way so I can do the pairing with who we have left.
