It's a shame Caselli doesn't get one of the high-profile relaunches. He definitely deserves it.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

If the text of that solict is supposed to spark intrest, it did the absolute opposite for me. Science Bros? Amazing Race Avengers style? Seriously? Plus, while the art looks great, after eight plus yeras of boring Bendis, I'm not ready for an issue with so many talking heads. Guess I'll continue to pass this.

    Peace

"Science bros" is what sold me.

I find the use of 'science bros' kind of sad, much like the use of 'Budapest' on the cover of the new Secret Avengers.

Since I'm guessing that Hickman's Avengers book will be a bit more on the serious side (something more akin to the Ultimates stuff, though likely not that serious), I sort of like the sound of a book that's a bit lighter in tone. Or at least that's how it sounds.

The advantage of having multiple Avenger books should be the ability to tell different kind of stories. Get a little bit of everything.

Yeah, this preview left me cold. Especially the block of panels with talking heads. It immediately made me think of Bendis and I felt an urge to vomit.

It looks like Deconnick is choosing to focus on smaller gropups withing the team and doing characters stuff with them.

I could really see this ending up being my favorite Avengers book.

The art will be georgeous and it looks to have an intentional light touch to it.

Maybe this is the case a lot, but looking at these pages with no dialogue, it's clear there are panels where characters are talking but their mouths are closed. What's up with that???
Keaton always said, "I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me are people that think Final Crisis is good.

Maybe it's me but Steve and Carol look like they were twins on page 4.
