OOC: According to Google, today is Bram Stoker's 165th birthday. Bram Stoker, of course, is the one who originally made Dracula famous.
Thought I'd mention it here, given the vampire theme and all.

As it happened, the announcement of Bram Stoker's birthday coming just a day or two after you posted the climax of this story was such an interesting coincidence that I felt I had to bring it up here.
