I'm so pleased with this title! From the cover-as-opening-panel through to the end, I was happy reading it, and SO glad to have a black and white title available again--they've been so far apart and few between, seems there hasn't been a decent b&w since early Sin City. And, in fact, this one's done really well! I thought the dialogue seemed genuine, NO narration (I really dislike most narration I've read in comics: the big exception being Master of Kung Fu!), and what's going on was conveyed well through the dialogue. The confusing parts began to fit together toward the end of the issue, and make rereading worthwhile. Inter-relationships are complex (and to those involved, unknown at the moment) and promise a lot of 'plot' to come. Glad glad glad I took a chance on this one!
