Did they actually say any of their names? I wasn't sure if that was the case of if people are just making that assumption.

I kind of assumed the guy was the one who was Tyrese's daughters bf in the comic and they just added his parents to the equation.

they said their names (their first scene they refer to Tyreese, Sasha, and Ben. the prison scene we get the remaining two) and note, the young woman was named Sasha (not Julie).

Quick note on Michonne:

You know, for a supposed expert with a sword, able to behead two zombies at a stroke, she sure does lose her sword a lot. Once against the Merle hunting party, then in the prison (yeah, I cut slack there, wounded and all), and now again with Governor. spoilers:

C'mon, you just stabbed the little biter in the back of the head, what did you expect him to do? But no, you lose your sword and end up trying to strangle him with your scabbard? Your sensei most be rolling in his grave.

And further evidence that clearing the prison out and locking it up tight would be a good thing, huh? Not that it's likely to matter soon. And seriously, Michonne? You don't think you could have said a few words to Andrea about what's been going on? Really? That reeks of plot-induced necessity, it does. Enh, whatever.

All in all, a decent mid-finale. Great previews, too!

doesn't matter, States have different pop. demographics (and in this show, hardly anybody is still in the cities). plus as stated already, there are too many variables to come to the conclusion of the poster G. Boney quotes. nevermind that it's fiction and the creators are responsible for the world they create, the people that populate it and who they will focus on.

Really? What proof do you have for that? I figure my conjecture is equivalent (though likely damaged because, you know, she keeps losing her sword).

Not really, no. What is that? One negative observation and one observation that actually points to the scripting? Actually, both point to the scripting, don't they? Michonne is one of my favorite characters, especially in the book. But, OK, you win, no problem. I guess she just found the sword and is just a natural. Works for me!

Still losing her sword a lot.

It wouldn't be the first somebody found a sword and swung it enough times, at the right angles, to behead another somebody. Michonne's had some practice. You'll notice she doesn't exactly wield it like a traditional swords[wo]man. She usually needs a lot of momentum, a wide arc, to cut someone down. She's not drawing from a sitting position and slicing somebody in a single stroke like some samurai master.
