Favorite Batman book: EVER

I don't know what you're talking about, because the book did so well that they're already planning volume 2. The script is already being written. Geoff Johns mentioned it in an interview he did around when Batman: Earth One came out.

Maybe there wasn't a big buzz online about it, but there was every where else. So be glad that the internet doesn't get the last word all the time. (For example: Stephanie Brown) We're probably going to get more than just one volume. I believe there will be at least a few more volumes after volume 2. I believe that Superman: Earth One wil also get alot of volumes after volume 2.

I thought Batman: Earth One was alright, especially in the re-imagining of the Gordons and the Penguin; I'm excited to see what Johns does with the Riddler. And just as a thought, if there are more volumes after 2 can we please please PLEASE have a re-imagined version of Harley Quinn that isn't a slut! Her character's gotten so little respect over the years it's appalling...

Anyway, I voted for The Long Halloween. The art, the mystery, the story - everything's just amazing.

Probably. It is the defining run on the character.

Who's done it better? Morrison's run has it all. It exemplifies and highlight's every reason why we love Batman.

Morrisons run beating TDKR, of course.

I wonder if in ten years Morrisons run will still get the fandom it has now.

Personally for me it will, since it is my favorite run. But depends if there will be another run which is better

I dunno, I'd say its my definitive run, but Batman being the character he is it's hard to say one run (or one interpretation) is hands down the most definitive.
