This interview just further confirms that Grant Morrison is my favorite living writer. To me, he gets comics in a way many others do not. He sees how influence is a major tool in storytelling, and it can be used positively or negatively.

He picked the positive, and for that, he has my undying respect.

Love the man. Need to re-read Final Crisis. I still feel it hasn't got the love it deserves.

Morrison doesn't feel the DC New 52 relaunch means the character of Mandrakk from "Final Crisis" achieved his goal of erasing the multiverse from existence. "I think things have to change and move on. I don't think Mandrakk won because DC hired Scott Snyder and Jeff Lemire, who are amazing new creators, out of this thing. Mandrakk can never win as long as people keep telling stories. He only wins when you run out of stories to tell."
LOL I'm guessing someone had a question about this.

I love Flex as a standalone but get this man some Shrooms and E asap.

Also I don't know which I would prefer as a film the Filth or Seaguy (if animated Seaguy).

That's interesting about the green thing on Bat-Mite's back in RIP, I'm surprised it took this many years to get revealed, and in such a nonchalant way. Not what I would have expected -- very interesting.

Grant is an inspiration as always. Very interested to read Multiversity.

Final Crisis becomes better and better every time I read it, such that I find it difficult to see why people don't like it. Mileage on the story may vary, but I think it's incredibly rewarding because of how dense and convoluted the story is.

convoluted is a word that can be used for the final issue possibly. other than that, nothing at all hard to follow anywhere, right?
just a weird talking point. just sayin.

Morrison is so awesome. Very excited for Multiversity and I'm curious to see what's going to happen when Doctor Hurt returns. I'm guessing it'll just be in the possible future in issue 5.

Morrison is awesome, that is all. One of the only creators out there whose comics reward you with repeat readings...

My only problem with Final Crisis is that it wasn't done entirely by J. G. Jones. Not that his replacements were bad, but the changes in the art bother me when I read the whole series.
