Wolverine's healing factor isn't as strong as his son's.

Does anyone else ever get the feeling that asking people from Marvel (Ultimate comics by extension) questions about their comics is like asking a government spokesperson about some military operation that just made the news? There's not a lot of answers and a lot of steering away from the question. It's like they're holding back or something.

The news/info from the panel of interest (to me anyways)

"He's going to do something with the X-Men that's never been done," said Singh. "You're going to be really surprised by this one when you see it in a great Brian Wood way."

When a fan asked about plans for Ultimate Jessica Drew to get her character more fleshed out, Pannicia and Humphries leaned away from the microphone and had a brief conversation before Pannicia leaned in and said, "Keep reading."

Havoc will be back sometime in 2013.

"Nick Fury has been in 'Ultimate X-Men.' He's a guy who's spent most of his professional life working for S.H.I.E.L.D.," said Humphries. "He has a contingency plan on what would happen if this ever happened to him and he's about to pull it off."

Singh teased new costumes for the X-Men, giant battles with big Sentinels and more.

Pannicia also confirmed more on the Ultimate Beetle will likely be coming up in 2013 in "Ultimate Spider-Man."

The lightning round of yes-or-no questions started -- including Pannicia answering a fans question about a book beyond the core three Ultimate books such as an "Ultimates Runaways" book. Pannicia answered, "Yes."

Singh also took an opportunity to tease what Brian Wood has planned in "Ultimate X-Men.

He's going to do something with the X-Men that's never been done," said Singh. "You're going to be really surprised by this one when you see it in a great Brian Wood way
I can't even think of what the x-men haven't done before.

Didn't the X-Men just get new costumes? Not that I'm complaining. As long as Jimmy not wearing that stupid yellow costume I'm game. I'm also thinking the new Iron Patriot might be Monica Chang.

Eh, Sam Humphries has chosen Monica Chang as his pet-favorite character and makes her the leader of SHIELD, this isn't natural progression of an character or situation, but just playing with favorites. Captain America would rely on someone like Iron Man or Hawkeye more, he knows Monica Chang can be easily swooned by Nick Fury, and Cap knows Nick Fury too well.

Excited for Brian Wood, still rolling my eyes with the writers trying to talk about cohesion and whatnot, when Brian Bendis doesn't care for that and neither does Mark Paniccia.

I think it was just a preliminary designs but it looked kind of bad so that didn't want it. Like the iceman costume. I think Iron Patriot is going to be Nick Fury.
