Too bad there was no question concerning the most intriguing cast member (to me, anyways): Taskmaster.

Well, this series could be fun, definitely will give it a shot. Just hope it is better than those early Secret Avengers issues that Spencer penned.

But I don't think that the name "Secret Avengers" is a bad one, since, I gather that most of the team members ARE Avengers who will work black ops or something...

Who is Director of SHIELD? Before Avengers vs. X-Men it was Daisy Johnson. In recent previews I've seen Maria Hill listed as the Director.

It is not a bad name..It is just i think the book could have been called Shield or they should be a book called Shield but in this Market it makes sense to tie everything to a big franchise i have no problem with Thunderbolts being called Dark Avengers or Shield book being called Secret Avengers if means their success.

I have no idea who is the head of Shield ,In Battle Scars and when the Avengers went up against Norman it was Daisy,I have seen in some recent books they have Maria Hill.Interview they said Daisy Johnson had role in Shield but it didn't sound like she was the head.It also makes sense to use Maria Hill with her presence in the movie and maybe her showing up in the TV show.

"Definitely. Daisy has a huge role to play in the book, as does Maria Hill, obviously. A lot of what Daisy does in these early days of her new job will greatly impact the book. Plus I was a huge fan of 'Secret Warriors' and the work John did on that book. This book takes a lot of its cues from that. One of the things I would say though, is this is a new S.H.I.E.L.D. The structures behind it and the way that it's formed, funded, run, and administered is different from the old S.H.I.E.L.D. So we'll definitely be exploring that too "

Sold on Daisy Johnson and Secret Warriors. Good for her.

Not pleased if Maria Hill is in the title. Any time she's used as something other than the villain she clearly is, I want to rip the pages out. I'll wait and see, but that definitely makes me lean more against getting this title.

When they announced this yesterday, I thought that Coulson would be donning the Iron Patriot armor. But, it seems like they are two characters. Any guesses on who will the new Iron Patriot? I'm leaning towards John Jameson.

Maria needs to behave more like a updated Countess, and not such an uber cunextuesday like she's been portrayed thus far.

He better have the ability to change his armor color. Because this defeats the point of Stealth if a guy flies in the American Flag across his chest.
