    Default Sketches - Part 1

From Fabio Moon and Gabriel Ba, some glimpses at BPRD: Vampire from Twitter. Again, I'm not certain all of these are for Vampire, I'm just posting the ones that seem to fit:

Does anyone know if Allie has said anything about the 1940's series, and now Vampire, being collected in a big hardcover like War of Frogs???

Scott Allie said in a Hellmail, "We are working on 1948 as we speak, actually, but we don't know at this time what the ultimate collection format will be, just that there will be a paperback after the miniseries concludes."

Nerdist interviews Mignola about Vampire. Also discusses Hellboy in Hell and some Abe Sapien and Hell on Earth.

It might be. Hard to say without having read it. But I would at least read 1947 before hand, which is a sort of origin story for Simon Anders, who is the main character in this story.

I'd really suggest reading all the 1940's stories, it's possible you could enjoy Vampire for its own merits but I imagine it would be like reading Hellboy in Hell without reading any of the other previous stories.
