Amazing! A female member of the Imperial Guard is coming to the Avengers!

While I'm not concerned with whether or not Hickman is being lazy "creating" or "re-inventing" characters, I will say there are plenty of Marvel female characters I would have liked to have seen used over these. If there was a real need for a space faring Avenger, I would have loved to see Hickman's take on Hepzibah. If it was an Imperial Guardsman needed use, I would have preferred Oracle, Astra, Moondancer or even Hussar. But what I really want involving the IG is their own series.

Given that Gladiator watched the last THREE Smashers die (and killed the last one himself), I am pretty certain that he's putting her there just to keep her alive and maybe trained for the inevitable "big space event that all the heroes get set up for bringing Guardians + The Avengers + The Imperial Guard + The Inhumans?" thingy.

Or maybe she'll just get blown up during her debut?

Why are there so many Smashers? Are they trying to turn it into a Green Lantern concept, I thought the blueprint was Ultra Boy? Maybe I should go back and re-read Legion comics.
