Community Season 4 Indefinitely Delayed

This sucks. With a shorter season and the loss of Dan Harmon, this news makes me worried.

the loss of Harmon and the one writer who'd worked on the series from the beginning left me uncertain I'd even want to watch whatever it is they put out as a 4th season, so I'm not really upset about this. it's also entirely unsurprising.

I keep waiting/hoping for Netflix to buy Community... and hire Harmon back.

It's kind of a good news more good news announcement. We already got the bad news: the bad news is Dan Harmon has been removed from Community; the good news is Whitney may never come back; and more good news, Community may not come back without Dan Harmon.

It means they haven't set a date for when it will air. Given that they've been filming, it almost certainly will air at some point.

When Up All Night, Parks and Rec, Guys with Kids, and Animal Practice are all in trouble. Chances are the realize that the show is strong just not strong enough to beat The Big Bang Theory. I wouldn't be shocked if we don't see them get the post Office slot hoping for a bump and bring it back for Season 5 at 9 next year.

Chevy Chase has always seemed like a hard person to work with. I always watch The Soup! and he was the only actor to never show up. I would have hoped that he grew to like his character but I guess not. That's okay, it seems like they finished the season finale anyways with him so they might just not include him on the remaining episodes before that.
