'If you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, its not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them'
This is FAR from a full confirmation. I still call it a rumor at this point.

At the time of writing these two characters are in the script.

Schrödinger's cat.
Nobody has said definitively "Yes, they are in the script" or "No, they are not in the script".

This is a great opportunity for Marvel Studios to show FOX once again how it's done...
Marvel could drop the "Mutant" part and just call them "Metahumans"
As for being "Magneto's Children" FOX has never been partial to following any character's true backstory let alone relatives in the X-men franchise just ask Prof X about trading Juggernaut for Mystique.
Plus with all the Adamantium bullets and BarakaPool eff up's. What gives fans faith FOX would adhere to this brother/sister duo anyway...? Scott and Alex Summers haven't even been confirmed as brothers in this ridiculous franchise.
Anyway I'm really looking forward to seeing this film.

Feige neither confirmed nor denied the notion which doesn't equate to entertaining the notion. Maybe they're in it, maybe they aren't. But calling THIS bit of news a confirmation is stretching the meaning of "confirmation" to the breaking point.

I don't know why, but I just got a chill when I thought about a possible scene in Avengers 2 where Scarlet Witch talks to an old man who she refers to as father about things and the man turns around to reveal...Ian McKellan!
How frikkin' cool would that be?

Nah... I wouldn't count on that. I see Marvel wanting someone more physically imposing than Ian McKellan. And they would be walking to tight a legal tightrope. They won't even acknowledge their father in the Avengers. They will hold that for the time down the road when Marvel gets X-Men back.

Well, the Entertainment Weekly article said 'a source confirms that they are in this draft of the script', and Kevin Feige said 'I'm not confirming or denying', so likely they are in this draft of the script, as stated. But that said, the Wasp was originally in a draft of the Avengers script, and Whedon cut her because the cast was too large. So all this really confirms is Whedon wants them in the movie, logistics still remain to be determined.
My favorite character can beat up your favorite character.
Loser.
We all know that unnamed sources don't often turn out to be reliable. And since the source is unnamed, I don't consider that a confirmation in any way. And since a Script is in existence now, Feige isn't going to confirm or deny anything. Very politician like.
