    Default Ghost, #1

The enigmatic Ghost, along with paranormal investigators Tommy and Vaughn, takes to the streets of Chicago in search of the crystal-powered machine that first conjured her, hoping to find clues to her mysterious past life. But the machine's original owners have a deadly agenda of their own. Picking up right where Ghost #0 left off, Ghost #1 continues Kelly Sue DeConnick (Captain Marvel) and Phil Noto's (Angel & Faith) reimagining of Dark Horse's greatest heroine!

As much as I still love the original version of Ghost (and her costume), I like how they've returned the sense of mystery with the new version. She's a total blank slate who has lost her memories and humanity and is indifferent to both killing and sparing people. It'll be fun discovering this character both for longtime and new readers, IMO.

This is my first time reading Ghost and I'm currently looking forward to issue #1. I guess I'm the new reader then.

Is anyone else highly disappointed in this series? I was really looking forward to getting it once it was announced as getting it's own series (I love the original series & how can you not like Noto?); however, the story has been terrible so far. I couldn't care less about a single one of these characters, Ghost included.

Anyone actually enjoying this, can I ask what you're enjoying?

What I like is the sense of unknown for all the principle protagonists, especially Ghost. I fully suspect that at least one of our intrepid male tag alongs could be turned or betray the others. I may not be overwhelmed by the choice of the art team but I'm more than willing to see where this goes.
