Well the rumours were right. I look forward to this.
Pull list: Animal Man, Action Comics, Aquaman, Batman, Batman Inc, Detective Comics, Green Lantern, Justice League, Ravagers, Superman, Swamp Thing
Cool, love that suit that Superman is wearing. The black looks great with the red.
I wonder if Action Comics is going to be crossing over with the other Super books in the future.
That promo art by Daniels is the same suit Supes is wearing in Superman #0.
Oh, interesting. So Superman is going to be wearing that black suit for a while? That said, Rocafort made it look a lot cooler than Daniels.
And I guess a lot of you Lois fans will be pleased to hear Diggle is planning on developing her, and "This is comics. Things are always changing. Relationships change all the time, so if something happens this month in a comic, it doesn't mean that's the way it will always be, forever. Not that I have any inside information on where things are going in the future, but stories move forward" is probably pretty telling what he thinks about the Wonder Woman thing.
Sounds interesting, but I have no room to add this comic to my pull list.
This sounds good. I'm glad he wants to test the waters of this SM/WW relationship, but I honestly hope that ends after a while. I kind of want to see Lois and Clark together again after all is said and done, with maybe anew dynamic between the two here and there. Just because Diana has kindred spirits with Clark, doesn't mean they should always be together( a friendship really does suffice to support each other that way). Lets see where this takes us and get it over with.
Steve Rogers: You ready to follow Captain America into the jaws of death?
James Barnes: Hell, no! The little guy from Brooklyn who was too dumb not to run away from a fight. I'm following him."
At this point, expected and welcome. Looks pretty good.
That said, can't say that his interview fills me with confidence. Looks like he'll be taking a more straightforward, Marvel approach rather than the mythic perspective we've so discussed here.

It will be an interesting shift from Morrison. Diggle's good, but I do wonder if he's going to be able to make his run on Action Comics special.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
I liked what I read of Diggle's run on Thunderbolts. I'll give this a shot. Great art as well.
I've been reading ACTION since the inception of the New 52 and while Morrison's work has been good...it hasn't really blown me away. His Lex Luthor has been a bit on the weak side. I'm looking forward to the new creative team and I love the black suit!
I suspect they are going for a "Batman" model of things now that Morrison's singular and specific authorial voice is gone, installing Snyder as the 'head' on the new Man of Steel book and getting a strong supporting set of writers open to collaboration.
Which doesn't excite me nearly as much as having each writer just do their own thing in their own little bubble independently, but I am probably in the minority there.

Damn, they're good at bleedingcool.
Well, already talked about it, while I kinda think anyone would have a hard time following on Morrison, I'm decently pleased by Diggle taking over. I only read "The Losers", but it was good, and he seems to have sci fi experience, which is a plus. And he sounded enthusiast enough in the interview, for what it's worth. I'm kind of "meh" on Daniels, don't really like him, don't really dislike him, he's popular and will be good enough.
I wonder what's up with the black suit, though.
"I'm going to paraphrase Nietzsche, when you judge a work, the work judges you."
I hope now that he can use that suit to power himself up under nay type of sun, would be a good way to counter one of his crippling weakness.Oh and how the hell did he make/discover that suit.
Deleted post, sorry.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
