The whole "book isn't for kids" argument is quite pathetic. If parents have to pre-screen a comic book for a child then don't buy it for them.

That was my point though, without the proper rating to inform the buying decision, your scenario won't ordinarily happen...

I am sure there are 12 year-olds out there who have played graphically violent games (although keep in mind stuff like GTA IV and Resident Evil 6 are rated "Mature"), but my main point was that the rating of this comic does not appear to fit into Marvel's own rating system.

Not a lot: MOST people see it. Even Marvel realized that. And the fact that they are treating him like the new Red Skull only makes it worse.

Understood. I feel ratings systems are rather arcane myself, but I can see why parents might value them.

It's not feasible for Rogue and Wanda to become friends anytime soon. Wanda was indirectly involved in the death of Nightcrawler, Rogue's brother and close friend. Argue what you want about the mechanics of her crime, but without House of M there is no Second Coming and no death of Nightcrawler. Rogue should be pissed indefinitely.

And yet her attitude at the end of Children's Crusade was entirely different.

It's all pretty funny.

The man who was all for mutant/human co-existence was killed by his student who was fighting to "save" his people only for mutant haters to use the brains of the peaceful mentor to attack mutants again.

A vicious cycle.

If the brain is intact enough to use Xavier's telepathic powers, who's to say it's not also intact enough to retain Xavier's memories and personality? Perhaps the brain will break free of Red Skull's control and be the return of Chuck... then he can go hang around with Martha.

Yeah, given the similarites they've had in the past I think Rogue would be one of the first mutants to give Wanda a break. Not overnight... but give it time and I think they'll be cool.
