This Squirrel Girl/Pixie scene harks back to Skrull Kill Crew in Dark Reign, where the writers and drawers of the comic were Skrulls, and they took control of the outcome. It was very bizarre, just like this scene. The other comical pieces, like Bendis' deriding of Cap, and Hawkeye's daydream about Spiderwoman, just took away from the seriousness of the event, and was disrespectful of an American legend. I think we should have commented more on Bendis' breakdown of what Rogers meant. ( It may be true, but he didn't have to broadcast it through comicdom).
I can't say I understood any of the science nerd fight, but I can imagine at one point those scientists did clump together for one moment during the fight.
Yin and Yang in contest was a nice window on how they both compliment each other, and at the same time oppose each other. None can ever win, and they just battle endlessly.
Visited NY and DC and saw Spider-Man Turn off the Dark.
I just want Cheung to follow Wnda around the Marvel Universe. Every time she's to appear, he should draw her.
This book was brilliant, cover to cover, but ten more pages of Cheung drawing Wanda made it golden.
