Ok... that's two games of pure win from Harden (with a silently nice showing from Jeremy Lin, at least in the stat line). This is pretty weird.
You just have to be cool about it...

Exactly. I mean if he averages these numbers for the entire rest of his career can you imagine? He's going to be the all-time points leader for sure!

I don't know how long he can keep this up, their break is early, tho the Hawks aren't as much as a push over (tho they lost Johnson). Portland's next, then Denver and Memphis. They have a rough patch up.

The way they are passing the ball is way better than any game they played last year.

Amazing. You have a game where Jeremy Lin drops something like 20 pts and 10 assists and that is not even the story.

If Harden is trying to prove a point he is doing a real good job of it so far.

Its the beard... the beard is giving him the POWER . If the other team wants a chance to beat him , bring scissors or a razor to try and cut that beard.

    Clearly MIA was showing mercy.

Still Harden and Lin are a great backcourt Duo so far.

Houston just needs someone in the frontcourt.

Doesnt matter how much or little Huston wins im not surprised Harden is taking more center stage, scoring more as starter, first option. OKC offensive depth was mostly Harden with who they averaged 10 points more, way better 3 pt shooting when he was on the field.

Its a shame he went for more money and left a top team but atleast he doesnt have to play second fiddle to overrated, uneven player like Westbrook now. He might not be uber superstar level but he was dangerous attacking, scoring for OKC to show he has alot of potential. I doubt Martin himself will be enough to be the scoring depth for OKC.

Meaning Deron Williams will require a surge in popularity(which I think he'll get since he's been rather high profile since last year with his free agency hype, team USA play, and the moving to the New York market) for Rondo to not move up.

Lakers won't win a championship this season they don't have chemistry yet they might come close, but won't go all the way.

The Big 3 in Boston and Miami had a lot better chemistry right off the bat, but still took some time. And this new Laker's rooster didn't really come together as organically as Boston and Miami's.

Neither Harden nor Westbrook is a franchise player, but Harden may have been a better long-term option as Durant's #2. But Westbrook's contract came up for extension first, so Harden got pushed out of the money queue.

So far. But there comes a point where an individual player trying to prove a point can sometimes work against the team's best interest. It'll be interesting to see what happens when the Rockets (inevitably) hit a rough patch.
