Hmm looks Like Black Panther, Mr. Fantastic, Black Bolt, Iron Man, Beast and Namor. Maybe Doc Strange.

12 Females or Minorities. Well not exactly good numbers for females although I suppose some overlap. Minority numbers of 6 at least is pretty good though.

is it me but the new avengers cover with the hands and fingers. it seems all the fingers are directed at the Infinty Gems possibly?

Avengers and New Avengers. Avengers are the Light. New Avengers are the Shadow.

Black Panther, Captain America, Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Black Bolt, and Doctor Strange. Plus Namor.

I need to read this for the simple fact that I can't believe it.

Edit: Read it and I can't believe Marvel is doing this. As a fan of both characters, I can see nothing that can bring them together sans major brain damage. They're even holding fingers in a panel!!! Aces will have a field day with this, lol. Jeez.

The only two I'm not exactly sure of is the guy standing behind Black Panther & next to Iron Man and the guy all the way in the back BUT I think the one in the back could be Dr. Strange.

Yeah not sure how the frak that works. Also no females. I mean really they could have replaced namor with his sister. Xavier with Rachel or something.

The roster is Captain America, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Black Bolt -- Namor is involved in the book because "What causes the guys to come back together is such a momentous thing that they have to put aside all differences." The way they get back together has to do with Black Panther and an event that occurs in Wakanda. "Even though they don't like each other and don't get along, they have to save each other from stuff they know is threatening."

YES! YES! YES! YEEEEEES!

Hickman, you magnificent bastard! You're writing a Defenders book and Marvel doesn't even know it!!

I'm especially curious what they'll do with Namor being a part of the cast, although I wonder if this means Luke Cage doesn't survive End Times, since the focus is shifting to the Illuminati.
