I actually enjoyed something with the Penguin for once! This one issue is better than most of what came before... I'm just sad this is likely to be my last issue because I can't afford to keep it. Why couldn't DC have put Layman on the book before I decided to drop it!
Avengers Arena is one of the best books in the shops right now, it's seriously amazing.

I have heard so much positive feedback about this issue that I am definitely going to have to go out and pick it up now.
The story was solid and I loved the art. However, after all the hype I was expecting to be completely blow away by it and I wasn't so to some degree I was disappointed in the issue even though I enjoyed it.

I think it might be intended to be the Elliots, as they were among the founding families in Gates of Gotham.
