Mr. Backlund continued wrestling under the new gimmick of an out of touch, yet highly dangerous, maniac out to teach the new generation a lesson.[3] He often appeared in business suits, had a hyperactive personality, and used (or, often, misused) large words to sound important. He also demanded that he be addressed as "Mr. Backlund". He would only sign autographs for wrestling fans if they could recite the names of all of the US Presidents in chronological order
Kick Ass has a pretty great score as well.
Same composer did the X-Men First Class, which is also decent.
The Final Countdown (not the Europe song but the movie with the aircraft carrier travelling through time) and the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack.
"The Mask"
"This Business of Love" is one of the most fun west coast swings ever.
There are many, but this is one has taken the number 1 spot a long time ago:

'The marquis. Well, you know, to be honest, he seems a little bit dodgy to me.'
'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

Completely understand that thought, Phil. They are very stark and similar.Whenever I hear his scores I can immediately see the scene they were played behind in my head, comes from me pretty much worshipping Carpenter from my late teens until around 30. I can certainly see where others would think this.
