Marko set the power and lights back on, and now the cadets had their shuttle and their way back to Eden. Jacob produced coordinates for them and set them into the shuttle. He said they were for the sheduled rendevous between the resistence left in Eden against Volkov and the cadets.

"Xaric Raveneye is your contact. Without him, you'll never get anywhere close to Volkov, much less gather all the info you'll need to sway the public against him."

Takeshi looks a little nervous and watches them come. He adjusts the retracted staff stuck in his belt, he might need it. He didn't want to start throwing around fire in front of his mother.

"Relax," Iriesia said to Takeshi, as she waved the two over, "there's nothing to get so worked up over."

"And nothing you cou-"

"Will you stop trying to pick fights with everyone?" Rai asked, interrupting what was would have been yet another caustic statement.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll stop," Amare replied, before setting Rai down at Irie's feet. "The wimp here said something about you being able to get people up to speed really quick. Is there a chance you could do that for us?"

"Of course," Irie replied, as she began to heal Rai. "All I'd have to do is connect the two of you together, through something I call the nexus. I'll need a moment to set it up, though."

Normally, she would be able to just will the nexus into being; but she didn't have the power to do so, while she was also powering the transformative effects of Takeshi's pendant.

Fortunately, there was another way for her to power the pendant- one that she would never tell him, or anyone else, about.

Not the way they justifiably reacted the last time something similar to this came up.

The jewels of her bangle changed colors, as she focused on making the maintenance of Takeshi's transformation draw its energy from her lifeforce instead of the normal reserves.

"I'm ready now," she said, as the shift concluded. "In a moment, the two of you should feel a gentle and silent presence asking for permission to access your mind."

Even as she spoke, the two would feel the presence- Rai for the second time and Amare for the first- that Irie spoke of.

Once the two accepted- Amare with some trepidation- Irie showed them how to share their memories with each other. The two would spend the remainder of the time before the ship arrived to catch up via the Nexus.

Marceau smiled from his seat, "Perhaps now would be a good time to start your lessons... if I were to obtain some electricity."
