Without waiting for them to start attacking, Casimir pushed off with his back foot and launched himself at the advancing party. When he gets close he swings Tenebrous at several of the robots.

The lead one raises an arm and catches the blade. It bites, but doesn't sheer the hand off.

The robot uses it's other arm, forms a fist, and punches Casimir hard enough to send him backwards, sword still held in it's hand.

"No idea, just that they're in here somewhere."

"Are there any barriers against telepathy in here?" Rivia whispered to him. "I could try again to scan for their thoughts."

Jacob opens a door, and the group walk out into the bottom of the prison cell holdings, a large circular room, spiraling upward every ten feet with a set of stairs and balconies. On each level there are dozens and dozens of individual cells, bleak grey doors sealed shut with no windows and only a scan-pad on the side to denote prisoner I.D. and life signs.

And, on each level, there were dozens of large, seven foot tall robots. They were human in shape, with long legs and long arms, a head, chest, abdomen, but they were completly featurelss and seemless about the joints. Like silvery mirrors made into humanoid shape. They all turned featureless faces toward the intruders, and those on the lowest level advanced toward the group.

With a grin, Skye says "I love robots!"

She clenches a fist towards one and squeezes, trying to implode the machine in on itself.

"Are there any barriers against telepathy in here?" Rivia whispered to him. "I could try again to scan for their thoughts."

"No idea. Try to find Commander Agnar's mind, if you can."

With a grin, Skye says "I love robots!"

She clenches a fist towards one and squeezes, trying to implode the machine in on itself.

Nothing happens. The one she targeted steps in and swings a fist at her.

[Eternal Torment]

The lead one raises an arm and catches the blade. It bites, but doesn't sheer the hand off.

The robot uses it's other arm, forms a fist, and punches Casimir hard enough to send him backwards, sword still held in it's hand.

Sloane didn't say anything. He just put the knives back in his jacket and pulled out the special diamond knife that he reserved for cases like this.

Then he ran up to the lead robot and pressed one hand against its back, using his power to weaken the durability of the plating before stabbing the spot with his knife.

Her grin turns into a frown. "Well, I don't love these robots!" She says as she uses Swiftsteel to draw Arvandor-Atar and tries to slice off the offending arm.

Cammy stared up with a single thought in her mind.

Thank the skies above that they're not human.

She lifted her hand, hesitant to fire, "Uh, guys, am I good to go loud?"

She warily eyed one of the automatons that appeared to be advancing directly at her.

That did make sense. Nodding he took her hand in both of his and looked her. " ... Je promets de ne pas garder de telles choses de vous."

And, as he as repeated ad nauseam, he does not make a habit of breaking his promises. "Bon. Nous pouvons parler de tout le reste plus tard. En ce moment, nous avons du travail à faire."

"If I was paying attention. Not in the mood to eavesdrop when lives are at stake, mostly our own." Rivia looked a bit annoyed.

'True. Still, better this than them arguing over nonsense.'

Frowning, she opens a gravity well in one of the robot's heads, trying to implode it in on itself.

The robot uses it's other arm, forms a fist, and punches Casimir hard enough to send him backwards, sword still held in it's hand.

Casimir rebounds quickly, and disappears in a flash of gold light. Teleporting in to grab Tenebrous, when his hand wraps around the hilt, the blade looses a burst of black energy (45).

"No idea. Try to find Commander Agnar's mind, if you can."

Rivia nodded, then used her mind to call out, "Commander Agnar." Repeating that thought again and again, as she scanned the minds of those imprisoned, hoping it would make a spark she could latch onto.

Sloane didn't say anything. He just put the knives back in his jacket and pulled out the special diamond knife that he reserved for cases like this.

Then he ran up to the lead robot and pressed one hand against its back, using his power to weaken the durability of the plating before stabbing the spot with his knife.

The knife bites and stays, but the robot just rotates it's head, arms, and legs so it was now facing Sloane.

Who promtly gets punches backward into two other robots, who grab him and hold him down.

Her grin turns into a frown. "Well, I don't love these robots!" She says as she uses Swiftsteel to draw Arvandor-Atar and tries to slice off the offending arm.

The arm, swift as a snake, twists out of the way of the blade and lashes out, extending like a whip to slap Skye across the face, stunning her.

And, as he as repeated ad nauseam, he does not make a habit of breaking his promises. "Bon. Nous pouvons parler de tout le reste plus tard. En ce moment, nous avons du travail à faire."

Casimir rebounds quickly, and disappears in a flash of gold light. Teleporting in to grab Tenebrous, when his hand wraps around the hilt, the blade looses a burst of black energy (45).

The blast blows the arm apart, but doesn't slow the robot down. It's other arm strikes out, punching a hole through Casimir's shoulder and out again. It's leg comes up, defying joints, and kicks the sword away as electricty begins shocking Casimir.
