Firstly, according to people who have it, the eps are in production, not airdate order, meaning that the storyline is spoilered if you dont carefully check the order you watch them in.
Secondly, at least one person has gotten information from Disney stating that this is the last of the EMH DVDs, as it is labeled the "Final Season" on the cover. Since we know this is not the case (the season was 23-24 eps, not 13), this would mean that Disney (once again) is not going to finish a release, which is inexcusable in this case, given the popularity of Avengers in both it's forms.
Does anyone have any better/newer information?

Not in the US market that I'm aware of.
This is what I've got:

The US market has the five volumes in dvd, and no "whole season" release.
The Canadian market has two "half-seasons" for Season 1 on DVD, and a whole-season Season 1 Blue Ray release and no Vol 5.
The UK market has Vol 1-4 and a "whole season" release all on DVD, and no Vol 5
