I want to sleep with my (not biological) brother i grew up with is kinda fucked, but it's not even illegal.
Murdering like 50 people in ritualistic fashion is definetly much worse than that.
If she was his blood sister it would still be not as bad as that.

The producers have said they have a definite ending planned out, and I think it would be foolish to expect Dexter to walk away at the end. I can't see Deb taking up the mantle in any way.

SHOWTIME has only renewed Dexter for 8 seasons so far, so season 8 next year could be the last. So do you think SHOWTIME would do a whole season 8 without Michael C. Hall being the lead character because they killed him off in season 7? Would anybody watch Dexter without Dexter being on the show? This would be very interesting and risky for SHOWTIME no doubt.

The producers have stated definitively and unequivocally that Season 8 will be the final season of Dexter.

I had totally forgotten about the Lewis story which made me so excited when I saw him again. I'm guessing he's going to keep prodding the beast for this season and become the big bad next year (possibly after killing Deb).

Thats probably just a reference to the revelation that the Bay Harbor Butcher investigation is being reopened and that they've determined Doakes was innocent. Already you can easily see how its going to happen since La Guerta has the blood slide and knows that was a hall mark of the Bay Harbor Butcher.
