I think the bigger question is, is it the end of the road for Princess?
You guys really liked that creepy Queen clone, didn't ya?
I'm beginning to think that Hell is a comic book forum.

This storyline was just terrible. It started off okay, but fizzled out into nothing. Totally anticlimactic. Prediction: W'e'll next see Alpha back as a villain. Telegraphed. I'm equally disappointed over the intense hype surrounding Spidey getting a sidekick. Alpha was no such thing. He was even less of a mentor to Alpha than he was to Hope Summers in AvX.
The only redeeming point to this issue was JJJ's sincere acknowledgement of Spidey's efforts. I wasn't a huge fan of how they made JJJ a douche again after OMD. Nice to see him acting like a human again. Apart from that, this has easily been one of Slott's most disappointing efforts, imo. Far too rushed and limp.
Pretty fair review; an overall very good issue and conclusion (albeit a bit rushed in the final act) to this storyline. And big props on the great homage cover to one of my all-time favorite comic book covers, the awesome Ross Andru Spidey vs Superman comic from the mid-1970's! It surprises me how many people still have not read that issue despite it being reprinted a few times; well worth the hunt if you have not read it yet!![]()

I cringed at the compliments regarding the art.
Oh well, hopefully Danger Zone will make up for this arc, especially since Camuncoli will be drawing it.

I can understand people liking it, but actually reading what exactly was so good about it was hard for me to take in. The review accurately described his people as "wildly exaggerated caricatures of humanity," but saying that after describing his art as "cartoon-like brilliance" was something I really couldn't agree with.
