Yes, very impressive debut of the Talon! Solid script and beautiful art! One of the best comics I’ve read in a long time (and I read a lot of comics!). Highly recommended!

I only have two expectations for this title: Extremely terrible, or really good.

So far, its doing good. Art was nice, just nice all around. I like the characters personality and skill set.
Brief story that gets the job done, have to see where it goes from here.

I enjoyed this issue as well. Clever origin story with a truly horrific opening scene. I reviewed it at the link in my signature if anyone is curious.

Good introduction, hope they can build on this now - has potential though.

There will be a female Talon joining Birds of Prey in issue #16. I guess Calvin Rose isn't the only one to escape the Court of Owls.

She didn't really "escape" from the Court. She just abandoned them when they fell in Gotham. Though it seems that she'll probably end up hunted just like Calvin.

It's mentioned in the Birds of Prey solicit for January.

Anyway, I enjoyed Talon #0. I wasn't blown away or anything, but given how tired I got of the Court in Batman, the fact that I liked Talon really says something. I hope the quality keeps up.
    Current favorites:

    DC: Smallville, Supergirl, Detective Comics
Marvel: Ultimate X-Men, Scarlet Spider, X-Factor, Thor
Other: Saga, Angel & Faith, Buffy

Very good news, lets hope she isn't a psycho.
