Ultimate Cap is president now? Barf. Can't wait for more Husk, I love her.
I hope so too.People at Marvel can answer that better than I can. I hope the chances are 100%.
I really love DMZ and I've signed on for Massive, but I just gave up on Ultimate X-Men. Less a reflection on Brian than the whole run so far. Too much money for too little story -- a title to browse in the store and wait for better days.
And maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but I could care less about ultimating any more 616 characters. Seriously, the most interesting characters to me are the new ones -- Angel, Jimmy, and Mach One.
Ultimate Kitty is going to smack President Cap around!
There's absolutely no valid reason not to put Brian Wood on a 616 X-Men book. Marvel would be fools not to. Wood/Lopez has been the most exciting team in ages.

Can't wait for the talk with President Cap! Brian Wood is my hero.
Kinda sad to hear Quentin Quire's not going to be sticking around. He's started to grow on me as a character. But I'm glad to hear he'll be pivotal with Rogue during her development; call me crazy, but I actually kinda like the two of them together...
I'm extremely bummed to hear that he's leaving Adjectiveless. It was one of the few X-Books that I had legitimate excitement to read each month. Which is suprising, as before Wood, it was probably my least liked X-Book.
I can't say that I was particularly looking forward to Woods run on adjectiveless (probably because he said he wasn't overly familiar with X-men history) but I've really enjoyed his run - it's been superb really and it's a shame it's coming to an end.
Brian Michael Bendis:
"There are no B-Listers. They are all A-Listers in the eyes of the right creative team.
Except Dazzler. she kind of [sucks]."
I was not familiar with Wood's work before this, but I've really enjoyed his runs on adjective-less and ultimate... I like the latter better than the former, but I don't know if that's just a result of him having more freedom to do a different type of story against the backdrop of the chaos that is the Ultimate U's current state.
Would love to see him back on another 616 X-team.
LOL It's been ONE scene! And I'm sure he's gonna ruin everything for her. But yeah, I was very surprised and intrigued by the pairing.
Wood really is a great writer. His Ultimate X-Men is one of my favorite monthly books and people who aren't reading it should give it a try. Amazing, scary stuff. I do hope that, starting with the Reservation arc, he gives a bit more of the spotlight to Iceman, Jimmy, Rogue and Storm (so glad she'll be back).
As long as Wood is writing Storm everything in the world makes sense. Get him back on a marvel title now with Storm in charge.
