What's with the sad face for Batwoman? He's a great fit for that book in between JH Williams arcs, who is of course better, but you could basically say that about anyone. Sucks Williams did the zero issue instead of wrapping the Medusa arc, though.

Also, seeing as nobody's noticed... the Talon... err... Talon... is fighting is the one from All-Star Western, who seemed pretty interesting. This could mean nothing, though. Great design for her. I also like how we can see that Calvin Rose's costume is form-fitting, because in the initial zero issue cover it looked like he had a chunky-ass owl bra on, which I hated.

I agree with you sad face there. Every time there's a fill-in artist for Batwoman it loses something.

I really don't think that he's a great fit for this title myself but each to his own I guess.

As for this cover it really doesn't impress me much but then again I'm really not a fan of Trevor McCarthy's artwork to begin with so that doesn't really surprise me at all. And what's up the those colors and the strange outlines on everything? Makes me glad that my LCS doesn't pull variants for me unless I ask them to. It's just a meh cover in my opinion.
