While the concept is interesting it's not hard to see why some people might think this is just some guy's psychotic fanfic he's building a brand new universe of new characters and killing almost all of them it's hard to get invested into any of these characters when you know they might not last much longer and who are you left rooting for? the guys that are left that you only root for because the guys you liked got killed off instantly

That's Boom!'s "thing". Alot of time when they have a new comic they will have the first issue be $1. They did it with the first issue of Valen the Outcast, Higher Earths, and Extermination and I'm sure some others too (I know they didn't do it with Hypernaturals)

the premise of this doesn't really grab my attention at all, so i'll most likely pass. this book should have some great art as carlos magno had been consistently awesome on his recent planet of the apes work (which is a bummer it ended)

I read the first issue and was surprised by how little fighting was in the book. Most of the time they were just trying to figure out how they got there, and why they would fight their friends to death.
