Fox has released the first official photo from its upcoming sequel to "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" featuring a shirtless Hugh Jackman, claws bared, on the set of "The Wolverine."

And just think about how less sculpted he looked 12 years ago when he first did Wolverine. Today's version can kick 2000's ass. Plus, being more than a decade older now, he's actually starting to look more rough around the edges. Perfect for the role. I actually think that he looks more like Wolverine now than he first did way back when. Here's hoping that the movie doesn't let us down, or at least isn't another Elektra.

Count me in the camp that think he looks more like Wolverine than ever. And I was worried Jackman didn't have enough time to get in shape for this role. I have high hopes for this movie. 3:10 to Yuma was a great movie despite the fact westerns are for the most part dead as a medium.
Just say no to lame Ultimate replacement characters.

That could also be the case but I have seen people do it the natural way. The 48 year old guy who owns a gym in my town is this cut and the guy isn't on anything funky. He just can work out all day every day. Originally Posted by Alex

Looks great for less than a month shy of 44. He works out months ahead of time, I like how sinewy and lithe he looks, definitely more feral.
That said, I hope the veins are photoshopped.Wake me up when it's over...
