Looking to try this out again with the new creative team in February.

As a huge fan of the work of Ed Brubaker, I freely admit to being jaded as to the fate of this title, and it's future. I enjoy the return of this character, and the work and stories provided by everyone involved, but it also probably only has a shelf life until the second Cap movie comes and goes. Just being honest. I want to continue on with this book as I'm loyal to the Captain America brand and have been since the 'Tales of' days WAAAAY back when, and while I wish the new team all the best, I honestly am on the fence to continue buying this book.

I say that as someone that dumped the Batman and Detective titles (after 30 plus years,) a good 18 months before the 'NuDC' got its hooks in, and honestly haven't missed them a bit. They were around even longer than Cap and the Avengers, a franchise I can now return to after the Bendis stank disappates. It's bittersweet but I'm bored.

    We'll see.
Where were you when your people were being MURDERED Barack??
Prosecute Hillary, 'cause it DID make a difference.
    Tired of tolerating.

I am also on the uncertain side here - burnt on the character etc., I've read a few books with Nic's art and just stumbled across one that could be a good preview to his WS run: Dancer from Image http://www.imagecomics.com/comics/5096/Dancer-TP - sounds a lot like the current WS run. The guy on the cover looks like Bucky too.

I am not crazy about that Bucky illustration so I will wait and see.

Didnt Nic Klein do those awesome Annihilation Conquest mini series covers for Star Lord?

    Those were nice covers.

We'll see with this book. It's a character I like.......but under Brubacker. I dont know if anyone will be able to follow that. I already know that Remender and JRjr's Cap isnt getting on my pull list (because JRjr just isnt the art style I enjoy and the dimension hopping is so far removed from the Cap I've liked), it would be a shame if this departs drastically from what I enjoy about WS

That pose Bucky is in looks very strange, and if he didn't look enough like the Comedian before he certainly does now.

Yes Nic did those amazing Star Lord covers. I prefer his covers to his interiors.

Is any artist better on interiors than covers?

I think him and Latour are bound to have some great chemistry.

I'm sticking with it because I like character. I just don't see the title sticking around that long because even under Bru its barely selling above 20K. I'm guessing we'll get another 5-6 issues.

I don't like Ribic's covers at all, but I love his interiors. Same with Djurdjevic.

I'm wondering if they might try to at least keep it going until the next movie comes out. There would likely be something of a sales bump then if they did manage it.
