Asmus is a great writer, and what the most important is that he loves Emma and knows how to write her. He even admitted that he brought Sebastian Shaw into his Gen Hope run in order to force himself to write more Emma scenes. Asmus should be given a chance to write an X-flagship (an Emma Frost solo book would be great too).

He's running around somewhere since and I think he'll be involved with the HFC or at least possibly building one of his own. I wouldn't be surprised if he joined mystique in her endeavors

I've always found the tech stuff weird. Maybe it's due to underuse, maybe it's the jealous Kitty fan in me. ^_^

Engineering is more about designing, but why not? The actual building part is just following the designs.

Emma is very rational- a perfect trait for understanding maths and physics. Engineers aren't all pimply, four-eyed mouth breathers, you know!

When WAS the last time Emma was shown being all that technical? I ask because I really don't know. Hell, Kitty's supposed to be a computer genius but I don't think I've seen her do anything like that since Whedon threw her at the Genoshan sentinel.

Actually with namor off the X-men, I think he'd make a better fit with Cyclops's E-team. They need some muscle and Sebastian isn't just some mindless bruiser. Also it would be interesting to see him interact with Magik.
I'd also be curious how he and Emma would get along as well.
