I believe the current official statement is that Madelyne and Jean were both crazy b!(%$ who didn't understand him thus forcing him to move on.

Off panel break out, hit the ground running in ANXM. Then go back a few issues later and deal with the breakout of Emma and that's when she and Cyclops have it out? That could work.

Lol, that sounds really great! It can be depicted in the first issue of Bendis' Uncanny title.

I wouldn't read too much into the solicits. AvX and Consequences was written for two audiences-- the people who follow comics closely and for the people who never read a comic before. Adding Emma to the solicit would likely confuse the second group. There isn't any need. Breaking Emma out of jail is supposed to be "whoa! What a twist!" Just like Cyclops is supposedly Cyclops is a "Magneto 2.0" (this is some of the talk I've been reading on other boards).

Pretty much, and he supports the school the logan way. I just find the irony hilarious.

Cyclops fans have dethrown the crazy from the Phoenix fans in the last few months. People who honestly view the Namor thing as anything more than some casual after effect just do not get these people. Again, Scott psychic rumbled with Maddie and physically rumbled with Frenzy all influenced by higher powers and they were pretty chill about it later. Their issues are not about fidelity but rather trust and possibly finance, given that the island may not have been insured.

And I guess Bendis is the one telling Emma's story. I'm kinda hoping it happens in February with Uncanny rather than ANXM cause I rather have four months or so to ponder about it than have it crammed in two pages so we can go back to Bobby figuring out how the iPad gets gay porn.

oh my god, that would be awesome. They are breaking into something and Kitty seems to be the only one with her location thus far.

Hmmm....plausible possibilities where this scenario might make sense...I think those panels of Kitty are her breaking in to the facility to find that mutant on the operating table, but perhaps Logan's X-Men feel Scott has gone off the rails and Emma is the only one he might still listen to?

Jean Grey is comatose after Magneto and Cyclops visit and they need Emma to help her. But them breaking in seems more urgent then that.

They really did screw us over revealing so many previews, we don't know when anything is happening.

I think the Kitty breakin occurs around issue 4 or 5, and Emma is clearly already out in issue 1. I'm pretty sure Scott, Magik, and Maggie were on their way to get Emma at the end of consequences. Nothing else was happening at the moment so why leave the hideout?
