Once again, what they say happens and what ACTUALLY happens is not the same.
I get that the idea was for Xavier to try to reason with Cyclops, same with the other x-men. Except they never actually do that.

The only thing Xavier did was show up and be all "SOPT IT OR ELSE". No reasons were ever used. The exception is issue 6, but he wasn't trying to convince Scott just talking about his concerns. In issue 9 he just issues an ultimatum, he never tried to reason with Scott. Issue 11, he just attacks Scott and says "STAWP!". Again, no arguments, no reason. Meanwhile, the only one that tried to reason with anyone was Magneto. He tried to reason with Emma (she was too far along by then), which failed.
There's also Iceman who basically said "Hey Scott can we talk?". When Scott said he was busy, somehow that translated into "Obviously he is crazy, everyone wants to talk to me!" So I don't think that counts as reasoning.

I wish they would stop referring to Cyclops as Xavier's son. Xavier already has a legitimate son and heir, and he's about to be the breakout star of Marvel Now. Cyclops, well, he should go take the advice of Obama chair.

I guess Bug's dividing his time between the Guardians and Micronauts. Anyone recognize all of the characters here? Aside from Bug, I think I see Arcturus Rann and Marionette, but I'm not sure about the big rock guy and fairy thing.

Bit disappointed he was asked about Avengers Arena. Considering the size of the thread about it, it's clearly a hot topic. Moreso, IMO, than something in the Ultimate universe.

Booooo what's the point? Anyone remember the What If? Where Cap became president? Was it like this or did he actually leaned in one direction?

To maintain creative distance from the Marvel Universe, the Ultimate universe needs to take creative chances. It’s not enough to just bend things in the Ultimate Universe -- you’ve got to break them. Peter Parker is a concrete example: He’s dead and he's not coming back.

You can also stop making 616 look like the Ultimate Universe. Just a thought.
