    Default REVIEW: Wonder Woman #0

"Wonder Woman" #0 is a delicious callback to the era of her true origin pre-New 52. Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang craft a delightful old school tale that drops all the clunkiness and lets readers know just where she's coming from.

the article keeps referring to the Golden Age...... the story is clearly more inspired by SIlver Age tales......

Good to know I'm not the only person to pick up on that! Yeah, these type of mythic trials of Wonder Girl happened mostly in the Kanigher era... I think Azzarello's story is actually much more classic and timeless than Kanigher's stuff. It has the darker edge of real Greek mythology but with a lot of the tone and devices of Silver Age Wonder Woman. Great story!

I agree with this review. It was a great issue, and the Silver Age influence was particularly awesome. I really look forward to War coming into play later on, too.

This was my favorite issue this week, adn renewed my interest in WW. It was just so fun, and yet I took just as much away from it as, say, this week's JL

This was my least favorite issue thus far. Thought it was brutal. Just me I guess.
