Later we'll have Captain American having a midlife crisis and quit the CnC job because he's always being stonewalled and that he'll do more good on the ground since he isn't cut out for that job.

    spoilers:
"So when Jonathan and I first started working together he sent me all of his notes on the book. He was very generous with all his ideas. He said, 'Here's what I have planned. You can take some of it or you can ignore it all.' Buried within his notes was this idea that he had to make Cap president. He thought it would be cool, but knew it was a controversial idea that I maybe didn't want to pitch right out of the gate,"
    end of spoilers
    It was Hickman's idea...interesting. I'm excited.

    The cool things

-Captain America is out of that awful suit
-The Ultimates: Black Widow,Hawkeye,Spider Woman,Iron Man,Mile Morales,Falcon and War Machine.
-I know there is reason i like the ultimate universe with forcing it they are 3 black males on a team not including Nick Fury.Which is a modern miracle in the comic world
-The concept is a little corny but truth it is like being the Head of Shield except you don't have ask anybody to push the red button,so i don't really see effecting the stories
-Does this know explain the Iron Patriot thing? It would make for either Captain America to be more armed and protect as president fighting or Captain convincing Tony to be more patriotic

    Good Point.

Lol where did Captain Britain Go?

Yeah 3 Black Males is Fine but they need to get used and developed for it to matter

Corny is one way to describe it?

Yeah, shouldnt everyone be rejoicing he is back in his suit?
I assume those are pages from issue 16, in which case Ross seems to be better than he was in issue 11/12.

So, what's the point of having a spoiler warning at the top of the article when the very title of the article contains that same spoiler?

Not a terribly original idea to begin with. I think Marvel toyed with this idea once or twice before in the 616 marvel-verse and even followed up on it in an issue of "What If?" ... superhero as a President? Security issues alone would be a nightmare and there's the fact that once you become President ... you can no longer have freedom to be a superhero since the politics of the day would be demanding constant attention.

Wow, ultimate civilians are even more stupid than 616 civilians.
Electing a guy who certainly doesn't know what Myspace is? Sheesh!
Me: Please Marvel, give some spotlight to your 21th century creations instead of killing them every month.
    Marvel: Avengers Arena, lol!
    Classy as always, Marvel.

Remember when Thor was president because everyone in the Ultimate Universe developed powers thanks to the Skrulls. Yeah, that felt original.

But now we have President America, who, just feels like another figurehead. It works though, seeing how Captain America is a symbol.

Well, supposedly Cap has been modified to adapt to situations and his environment exceptionally well, and has been show operating computers easily, so he probably DOES know what Facebook is. I doubt he cares about MySpace, like most humans.

This is not particularly exciting for me, except that I predict Flumm will be the leader of Hydra, which will be a splinter organization off SHEILD after the regime change. That's interesting, maybe, though I would have preferred proper outlaw Ultimates. He whole idea of Cap as President is a bit trite, though, especially as it sounds like he'll basically just be in charge now and act the same as always. You know... exactly the same as the main universe. But with a title.
Looking for artists, know I won't find any. That blows.
