Nothing against Johns but I'd rather see Gail Simone take a crack at an Arrow script given the characters involved.
I'm crushing your head fanboy! I'm crushing your head!
The show hasn't even premiered yet and Johns just ruined it. That's got to be some kind of record.
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.
I'm not really a fan of Johns, but unless this episode stinks it is not really a big deal.
Wake me up when it's over...
It would be big news if someone who had been an established Green Arrow writer was writing for the show (e.g. Mike Grell, Denny O'Neil, Elliot Maggin, Chuck Dixon, Kevin Smith). Then we could look forward to some character insight. In this regard, Johns is no more important than any other Hollywood script writer.
Ehhh we'll see. His Smallville episodes were mainly fanboy panderings with Legion, JSA, and Beetle/Booster. I kind of hoped this show had higher aspirations.
I quite liked his TV work. The JSA ones were fun and I liked how he wrote Waller.
The Legion\Brainiac episode was definitely one of the better episodes.

Can we please wait to criticize his episode until after it airs. Jesus, what a bunch of whiny fan-boys. This forum is getting ridiculous in as much as the fan-boys all want to pounce on every bit of new as if it is the worst thing to ever happen, ever in the whole of recorded history.

How about he sit back and watch the show so he can get a feel for what the show needs or represents. His work in the past (Smallville, Green Lantern) leaves much to be desired...

Wow, I've never seen a bigger collection of whiny, elitist fanboys!
Oh wait....
LOL. It's funny, because it's true.![]()
