Marvel.com has an interview with PAD about winding the series down here. Nothing earth-shattering, but there's some of Neal Edwards' forthcoming art for #257.

So we are only missing Rahne's cover of what's been solicited? Is this going till 262?

Sometimes. #257 focuses on Layla Miller, #258 focuses on Rahne. Rictor and Shatterstar are #259. Polaris is in #260.

Yeah, there are six issues left, making #262 the end point. We've seen the covers of #257 (Layla), #259 (Rictor & Shattybuns), and #260 (Polaris). We now know that #258 will focus on Rahne, so that leaves the two final issues, with three covers left to be seen (#258, #261, and #262).

Probably Gudio/M and then Madrox/all other plots.

I just got sad this series is ending again. :(
What is this, Horseville? Because I'm surrounded by naysayers.

Yep... I'm buying into Legacy now... I was on the fence for a while, X-Factor was my only Marvel buy... but this has tipped the scale. Now where is Gorgeous George?

Be warned, you probably won't like what happens to Ruckus, lol. I'm just grateful someone had the decency to reuse him after twenty years languishing in obscurity. However, you should be reading X-Men Legacy regardless.

I'm starting to get excited about what PAD is going to be able to do with this rare oppurtunity to bring it home on his own terms, doesn't happen often in this medium.

Rukus brings to mind an interesting question though... We all love the characterization and depth PAD brings to his protagonists but why do his villians more often then not fail to catch on in any long term way? Is he unable, unwilling or uninterested in creating landmark bad guys? or is it something else altogether?

I know! His old fabulous hair needs to make a comeback.
There are no bad writers, only bad characters.

His villains from the 90s were awesome: The Nasty Boys, Hell's Belles, Rhapsody. It's just no one touches the since.
