I can almost promise Darkhawk is going to be one of the first offed just like JaggedFel said. The lame "oh my god they killed that powerful character" moment to show how "edgy" this book is going to be. Otherwise Darkhawk could tear the entire Murderworld appart by himself. He really is that dangerous now.

Darkhawk dying in the first couple of issues to show how cool/powerful another character is would be one of the only things that could get me to drop the book without at least trying out the first arc. That would be terrible. And it wouldn't make sense considering the fact that he's the only one here outside of X-23 that could sustain a solo title.

Before anyone can die, Gertrude Yorkes is going to come in riding on Old Lace to save the day. Then afterward, she can fulfill her destiny as Heroine, the next leader of the Avengers.

He did once upon a time, but I can see Marvel passing on the Darkhawk identity to someone new, just like they did Nova. They do need to address the Fraternity of Raptors though. The Shi'ar connection makes the Darkhawk concept ripe for another shot.

Haha. I know-- I just joking, anyways. But in all honesty. After the treatment Nico and Chase (and the rest of the Runaways) got in Daken, they really deserve to live. And I'm a huge Runaways fan, so that's my bias all the way. As the others? I'd say X-23. I'll only be sad if anyone else other than those three died, but I'd get over it.

You know, the more I think of this, the more I feel bad for Arcade. Guy has got to have a brain tumor or something -- wanting to go out in one last blaze of glory. If Drax were to even get a hint of him messing with Cammy, poor guy is going to know what it feels like to eat his own spleen.

I had forgotten about Drax, but there are others that would be at least as nasty about some of those folks dying. Would Arcade be a snack or a meal for Old Lace?
